The development of Off-the-Record Messaging is led by Prof. Ian Goldberg and his research group at the Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
Donations to support the project can be made by contributing to his research group at the university, and can be tax-deductible in the US or Canada.

That way, we can tell the university donations people to watch for it and send it to us, and we know it's for OTR. |
Getting a US tax receipt has to be done using a paper form, unfortunately. See the University of Waterloo's Gifts from the United States page for details. Use the paper donation form. Under "3. Gift Designation", fill in: Designation: Ian Goldberg's Research Group in CS Send the form to: Friends of University of Waterloo Foundation Note: this is not the address printed on the form! You need to send it to the Virginia address to get a US tax receipt. After you have made your donation (thanks!), send us email to let us know that you've done it.
